The Aligned·By·Design Initiative is an urgent national leadership call-to-action to restore our nation’s global prominence in academic achievement.  The five-year commitment to provide every student access to a world-class education calls on, and enables, the education community to:

  • Eliminate the systemic problems now blocking improved student achievement

  • Ensure that every student is taught in a high-performance, student-centric classroom

  • Restore U.S. students to the top rank on international assessments in math, reading and science

Empowered by the breakthrough Aligned·By·Design Model , the Initiative addresses the critical need to urgently raise student achievement levels and close chronic racial and socio-economic achievement gaps.  It provides educators with the unified, web-based system of processes and tools they need to meet today’s globally competitive student achievement goals.  It enables them to solve the systemic problems, and inter-related impediments, now blocking standards-based education success. 

The groundbreaking solution follows proven quality processes and is empowered by the innovative, next generation Aligned·By·Design technology.  It enables education leaders to precisely define the classroom “what to teach” as sequential, high-definition content knowledge and skills specifications.
